My main interest is in ‘street’ photography: the contemporary urban landscape, its people and their environments. I also like semi-abstract images, concentrating on shape, form and colour.
I’ve held six solo exhibitions in North London, also contributed to several group exhibitions. I’m an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, an active member of its Contemporary Group and of London Independent Photography.

I have been a hobby photographer for around 7 years and a member of 'Viewfinders' for the past 4. I attempt to capture both what I find personally interesting and that which may not immediately being obvious to the casual observer. Over the last year I have moved toward a more creative approach manipulating images that have been captured as part of the overall photographic process, which can been seen in many of my images on this site. I am also interested in phototherapy and the use of photography for personal growth.
My background is in newspaper and magazine journalism as a writer, designer and editor, and this informs my work as a photographer. I am mainly interested in taking pictures of people and scenes from contemporary life, so I mostly do street photography and portraits. I admire Garry Winogrand, Robert Frank, David Bailey and the recently discovered work of Vivian Maier. I publish my photos on Flickr and YouTube, and have exhibited a set of photographs taken in New York.
I use a Fujifilm X100 camera with a fixed 35mm equivalent lens, a Nikon D80 fitted with an AF-S Nikkor 18-200mm lens and, occasionally, a classic Olympus Trip 35 found in a charity shop.
I specialise in panoramic imaging, in its more familiar pictorial uses, as well as exploring less conventional uses and slitscan techniques. I am a member of the International Association of Panoramic Photographers.

My main interest is in creating images using close ups/aspects of plants, flowers, architecture, with a focus on light, reflection, structure, and patterns. I am still learning how to translate my thoughts and ideas into the image I am after and aiming to get the maximum from the equipment I have available. Its also as important to me consider how the images will be displayed.
I’ve been an enthusiastic amateur for the last 7 years and been involved with Viewfinders for the last year.

I am a documentary photographer based in London. One of my recent projects documented the long-term residents of Sipson and their protests against the proposed third runway at Heathrow Airport. The ongoing 'Lifelines' series documents linear features in cities that have found a new use e.g. The Greenway in London and the Mauer Park in Berlin. My current project explores toys and other objects from my childhood.
I have exhibited in galleries in London and Barcelona. My work has been published in f-stop magazine, London Independent Photography magazine and Nikon Owner magazine.

In this gallery, you'll see an eclectic mix of images varying from infra red, black and white, landscapes, street art, street scenes, pop art and glamour. Basically, I'll photograph anything that looks pretty, interesting or strange, or any combination of these three things. I have been snapping away for over 30 years and, recently, I have had a few successful exhibitions and sold some work.
I enjoy diverse photographic disciplines, but my main interest is people and portraiture. I have been involved in a variety of commercial projects and undertake commissions. I am interested in telling a story through an image and love the spontaneity of working in unfamiliar environments and with new subjects.
